At Love My Skin Shop, we formulate our premium BB creams, CC creams, and hydrating skincare treatments with your satisfaction in mind. However, we understand that sometimes a product might not be the perfect match for your skincare routine. Our returns policy is designed with the same care and attention we put into our products.
Important Note: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on opened or used skincare products, including BB creams, CC creams, moisturizers, and tinted moisturizers. Only unopened products in their original packaging with seals intact may be returned.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- You must initiate your return request within 15 days of receiving your order
- The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging with all seals intact
- The item must be in the same condition as when you received it
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Step 1: Contact Our Customer Care
Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Return Request – [Your Order Number]” and include:
- Your order number
- The product(s) you wish to return or exchange
- The reason for return
- Whether you prefer a refund or exchange
Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
Within 2 business days, our team will email you:
- Return authorization
- Return shipping address
- Any special instructions
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package the item securely in its original packaging and ship to the provided address. We recommend:
- Using a trackable shipping service
- Insuring the package for its full value
- Retaining your shipping receipt until the process is complete
Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days
- The refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund (typically 3-10 business days)
Exchanges
For exchanges of equal value:
- We will ship your replacement product once we receive and process your return
- For exchanges of higher value, you will need to place a new order for the difference
- Shipping charges for exchanges are the customer’s responsibility
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected]
- Include photos of the damaged/incorrect product and packaging
- We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene reasons, the following cannot be returned:
- Opened or used skincare products (BB creams, CC creams, moisturizers, tinted moisturizers)
- Products without original packaging or seals
- Products purchased more than 15 days ago
International Returns
For customers outside the United States:
- You are responsible for any customs fees, taxes, or duties associated with the return
- We cannot refund original shipping costs for international orders
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional customs charges
